Walking, ONE, and Easter

We have had a very eventful and busy few weeks! Sawyer started walking on Sunday, March 24th, and like with everything else he does, he did it once and was off! He walks everywhere and has gotten really good at it in just a week!  I made cupcakes for him on his actual birthday, March 27th,  and we just hung out as a family. Grammy and Bumpa had us over for pasta which he loves since he can feed himself.  I have pretty much given up on trying to feed him because he throws a fit if I try. Last nite at dinner he even brought a fork to his mouth and ate off it...Bumpa was pretty impressed, and so was I! He is way too smart for his own good...and for Jeff and I! We are in for a wild ride with this little man - and I am looking forward to it for sure :)
We also celebrated Easter. He loved watching all of the kids at Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Debbie's annual Easter party. During the egg hunt he found his first egg and was done. He just kept shaking it trying to get it open. It was cute! Cousin Amanda and her cute family were down so we had Easter dinner with them, Aunt Vicki, Uncle Danny, GG, Grammy, Bumpa, and Grandma Karen. It was so fun and Sawyer loved playing with Quentin! I am just sad I did not get any pics.
We are grateful for this time of year, to reflect on the past year with our son, the blessing of our sweet little family, and the gift of our Savior's atonement and resurrection. We are thankful for the gospel and our knowledge that families are forever! xoxo
